Lady Force to Battle the Heat, Again

After a frustrating loss to Capital FC Atletica last weekend, a game which saw the Force up 1-0 at the halftime break only to give up 4 goals in the second half, the Force Women will travel to Yakima this weekend for Father's Day. For the second time this year, the Force women will have to leave the comfortable 70's of the Kitsap Peninsula and head east of the mountains for 90 degree weather. That being said, the Force Women might just be a hot weather team.

Their last trip across the mountains saw them knock off NCW Alliance 2-0 in Wenatchee under 93 degree heat, with only one available substitute for the match. This weekend it will be Yakima United that is the opponent and the best news is, the game will be played on the grass at Yakima Valley CC instead of the hot turf of SOZO. This will help to keep temperatures down drastically since the expected highs are supposed to be around 90 again for Sunday's match.
