Force Women's Season Postponed

BREMERTON, Wash. – In cooperation with neighboring communities, and considering the health and safety of our players, staff and supporters, the Olympic Peninsula Force have made the decision to postpone our upcoming Women’s Force games. Having recently completed a successful home game with over 300 people in attendance, we feel it prudent to get out in front of what is happening around the state and not further encourage potential spread of the COVID-19 virus with large gatherings (over 250 people) as directed by our Governor.

With this decision, the Force Women’s game schedule for this Saturday, March 14th has been cancelled. Additionally, we will not be participating in our away game in Snohomish on March 21st. Rescheduling considerations cannot be done at this time, but we will inform everyone of decisions as they dynamically evolve.

We will continue to monitor the situation and reassess on a daily and weekly basis the information being gathered from federal, state, and local government agencies. As we have done from the start, we will keep you apprised of what we learn and how it impacts all of the programs at Olympic Peninsula Sports.

Our current local community programs not impacted by the attendance mandate will continue on a weekly basis. This includes all adult and youth leagues and trainings, as well as that of our community partners participants. However, we request that if there is any doubt about you or your players current health situation, to please error on the side of caution and remain home for the benefit of all.

Again, we are saddened to be delaying the Women’s Force program but are confident that we are making the correct decision and look forward to seeing all of you at our next home game when things normalize.

Kind regards,

OlyPen Force Management
