Force in Search for New Coach

The WISL Force men find themselves in a position they have never been in before, needing a coach. After 5 seasons as head coach, Steve Cashmore has stepped down from all of his coaching duties. After guiding the team to a PASL Northwest Division Championship, a Nationals appearance, and 2 WISL Finals appearances in 5 seasons, Coach Cash has decided to take a break from coaching in order to be able to spend more time with family and watching his kids play.

So what's in store for the Force indoor team now? Force General Manager Micah McMonagle is already on the search for the right fit. "It obviously has to be someone knowledgeable in the indoor game which we have plenty of as the older players stop playing and move towards different stages in their soccer life. However, it is also important that the coach is able to hold players accountable and sometimes bringing a former player in that has personal relationships with some of the squad can make that difficult. I'm actually looking forward to the search and getting to talk with all the candidates."

Anyone that might be interested in applying for the position should send a coaching bio to forcegm@olypenforce.com.
