An Introduction and Re-Introduction

It was a Breast Cancer Awareness and Research Home Opener in the WISL as the men took on the Vancouver Lightning. Over 200 fans turned out for the event and every single jersey was auctioned off! The support of the fans throughout the game helped the Force rally back from 2-1 down early to never relinquish the lead again earning an 8-5 win to start the season.

The game saw the re-introduction to the league of THE Captain, Kyle Johnson, who helped the force 8 years ago earn a trip to the national competition in the PASL Championship Season. Kyle proved that despite the time off over the past several years, he hasn't missed a step getting 3 assists on the night.

The night on the field belonged to Cory Burbridge who was making his Force indoor debut. Turns out it was more introducing the league to Cory than the other way around as the youngster not only netted a hat trick in his first match, he also added 2 assists.

Two goals each were added by Alex Hernandez and Izzy DeLuna and one goal by Matt Olson. Drew Carpenter made 13 saves on the night.
